Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between total quality management (TQM) is the efficacy and empowerment. The study method is descriptive (surveying). The population consists of all directors of educational groups of the branches of the Islamic Azad University – First Region, with a number of 315, in the year 2014-15, 118 of whom were selected as the sample, using a simple random sampling method. For data analysis was used statistical methods, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple regression and multiple and path analysis. The results showed that: there was a significant correlation between positive and empowering aspects of TQM effectiveness, There is a positive relationship between total quality management, effectiveness and empowerment, There is a positive relationship between the sense of competence, sense of independence, a sense of confidence, empowerment and quality management, There is a positive relationship between the sense of competence, sense of independence, a sense of confidence, empowerment and quality management.
