The relation citizenship behavior and organizational performance of the principals of education schools of the Kalibar County
This study investigated the relationship between citizenship behavior and organizational performance of the principals of education schools of the Kalibar County. This is an applied research and it’s method is descriptive- correlation. The case study includes teachers of the Kalibar County which is 600. The sample size was 148 which were calculated by Cochran formula, and were selected thorough Simple random sampling. The data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 29 standard questions to measure intellectual capital and 60 standard questions to measure organizational behavior. The content-related validity of the questionnaire has been evaluated positively by professors and experts. The reliability of the questionnaire measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficient which was 86% for the organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire and for principal’ performance questionnaire was 93%. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics (correlation and simple and multivariate linear regression). The results of this study showed that citizenship behavior and its components like humanism, courtesy, magnanimity, civic virtue, deontology, organizational loyalty and organizational obedience of principals have positively and significantly related with organizational performance of principals.The results showed that organizational performance of principals can be predicted by citizenship behavior.
