Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and knowledge management in different departments of education in Tehran. Research method is descriptive and of correlational nature. In the present study, 36-item questionnaires were used to measure organizational culture and knowledge management through Morgan table. The sample included 61 employees (managers and professionals) in different regions of Tehran, and the reliability of the test was calculated as 0.95. In order to examine the variables of organizational culture (Group culture, Adhocracy, Market, Hierarchical) and knowledge management variables (knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and transfer of knowledge) analytic statistics was used in this study. The results of data analysis reveal that cultural variables are at high level, indicating the ideal level of the organizational culture in different educational departments in Tehran. However, variables of knowledge management are at the average level of education that shows the application and implementation of knowledge management is not at an ideal level in educational system in Tehran.
