The purpose of the study is to identify the effects of educational factor on social trust in Islamic Azad University among Tehrani Citizen in 2010. It initially sought whether there was a relationship between social and educational factors of Iranian society and their social trust and which factor shows a higher impact factor. It was a survey research and data were gathered by administering a questionnaire to 1000 students of Islamic Azad University who were selected through cluster sampling method. The researcher-made questionnaire was based on Likert scale with the content validity index of 0.85 and Alpha index of 0.95. In order to analyze the data and test research theoretical model, SPSS and LISREL softwares were used respectively. The results of this study revealed that there is a significance relationship between social and educational factors (including social status of parents, social status of Islamic Azad University, access to library, quality of education, educational space, and educational structure) and the dependent variable, i.e., social trust. Moreover, the results of structural equation model imply the relation between independent and dependent variables which can be claimed that presented models have pleasant fitting and there is favorite conformity between depicted model or structural model with empirical data; this means that the variables have suitable qualification to be used in the final model of research.
