This study which is practical in terms of the objectives and descriptive – correlation in terms of research method, aims to propose a model for identifying the relationship between intellectual capital and employees’ psychological empowerment among female staff of Islamic Azad University (branches of Science and Research, North, Center, and South). Statistical population includes all female employees (1600) in different branches of Islamic Azad University in Tehran. Using the stratified random sampling and Cochran formula, 310 individuals were selected as the sample. A questionnaire was used for data collection and SPSS and PLS software packages were used to analyze data. The results revealed that there was a significant relationship between the employees’ psychological empowerment and the intellectual capital together with its dimensions and, including human capital, structural capital, and relational capital.
